Hello Castle Yard Tea Room!

At the end of June we had the pleasure of being invited to the opening of a new tea room in Coventry city centre. Nestled in the Castle gardens the new Castle Yard Tea Rooms stand with the back drop of the old cathedral and the medieval Guildhall.

Serving a selection of beautiful cakes and a range of teas this new tea room is an absolute hidden gem that you need to discover.

Their speciality dish is a chimney cake. They are a Romanian delicacy which starts from a dough which is somewhere between a bread and a doughnut. These are handmade on site by Romeo.

Step inside this beautiful venue and there is seating for around 30- 40 people, it would make a perfect venue for a baby shower or get together with friends.

The Castle Yard Tearooms were officially opened by #Covhour’s very own Town Crier Paul Curtis and the Coventry Business Improvement District Director Trish Willetts who both did a fantastic job of marking this special occasion.
