Boa noite at Rodizio Rico Coventry!

We had the pleasure of attending the opening night at Rodizio Rico Brazilian restaurant on Corporation Street, Coventry, on Wednesday night and the night was electric! This venue is ideal if you are planning a meal out or you could team it with a visit to the theatre. A children’s menu is also available.

The CovHour team were greeted with delicious zesty caipirinha cocktails on arrival followed by trays of parmesan dough balls. The atmosphere was alive with tentative guests and everyone was taking in the atmosphere and the urban chic décor which includes hanging gardens from the ceilings.

Centre stage in the restaurant is a rich, colourful and tempting self-serve salad bar in the shape of a boat; vegetable coleslaw wraps, roasted aubergine, spicy rice, pickles and cheeses with lots more on offer.

After taking our seats we were served with delicious house wine and then the enticing meat feasts started to arrive. With over 15 different ‘melt in your mouth’ meats on the menu; beef, pork, veal, chicken, sausages and many more all served from hot skewers by the waiters, you really couldn’t imagine a better banquet.

Unlimited dining; each guest has a card to flip over once they have finished eating. For dessert we ended our banquet with homemade caramel ice cream which was dusted off with a crispy crumb on top. The service, food and atmosphere were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble.

We are looking forward to returning very soon. From what we’ve heard though booking is essential as it is already proving to be a very popular choice in the City.
