Celebrating 5 Years of #CovHour

Can’t believe 5 years ago this week Covhour was created and my Thursday evenings haven’t been the same since. Do you remember twitter jail when you couldn’t send more than 100 tweets or retweets within an hour?

I have met some wonderful people through twitter and learnt so much about this amazing city. I’m so excited for Coventry to become City of Culture 2021

During the first few months I had some great advice from Kate Keene from Piece of Cake Marketing. Both Kate and Emma from Piece of Cake Marketing have been so helpful over the past 5 years especially when we started Covhourlive, a live networking event in Coventry last year with Trish Willets from Coventry Bid, Karen Heap from Socially Shared, Becky Jones from Glory Design, Christine Cooper – Uniquefpgt, Sam De Marco from Uni City Lodge and our newest member Paul Curtis. Big thanks to Becky for the redesign of our logo and the website.

Our next Covhourlive which is also our 5th will be held on Thursday 11th October 2018 from 6-9pm at Old Grammer School. This is a free event and please follow the link to get your free ticket.

Please check out our website – www.covhour.co.uk for our latest blogs – we have visited some amazing independent restaurants with the city centre – if you would like use to review your restaurant please let in touch – jo@covhour.co.uk.

See you on Thursdays on Twitter between 8-9pm including #covhour in your tweets.

A massive thank you for all your continuous support over the past 5 years and look forward the future.

Jo & Covhourlive Team
