2017 was an amazing year for Covhour. The Twitter networking hour has grown so much. So too has the Team. What a year! Here’s what we got up to in 2017.

January

I decided to enter the Coventry Half Marathon for the 4th year with only 8 weeks to train.

February

Got my charity running vest for the Coventry Half Marathon. I decided to run in memory of my Mother in Law Norah.

March

I visited Leave it to Esme - a Caribbean bar & restaurant based at Fargo Village - the food was amazing and I recommend that you take a trip.

I attended my first Women in Business Conference organised by Socially Shared - it was an inspiring and brilliant day.

I successfully completed the Coventry Half Marathon!

April

Time to enter another Race! My husband and I entered the Regency 10K in Leamington Spa - this was the first time we had entered this race – we really enjoyed it – there was lots of support around the course.

We shared our big news! Covhour was going live! Our first event would take place in June 2017.

I attended Earlsdon festival and met up with the talented Nick Shingler.

Planning meeting with the lovely ladies from the Covhourlive team

Our final Covhourlive of 2017 was held at the Priory Visitor Centre - we enjoyed mulled wine, hot chocolate & mince pies thanks to Bayley Lane. We all showed our support for Coventry and hoped that we would win our bid to be UK City of Culture 2021.

I got festive at the Village Hotel with afternoon tea at the Village Hotel.

To finish the year I went on a Winter Wonderland Wall Walk in Coventry City Centre with the fab Deep Fact Friar - it was a very cold day but we have so much history. I enjoyed it so much I will do this walk again this year.
